You're not. Just learn to aim without the computer assisting you. We don't get assist with our mice, why should you get assist with your gamepad?

We're not scared of it. Auto Aim is as bad as Aim Bot on CS:S. It's an unfair, unneeded advantage. Just learn to aim better, or use KB/Mouse.

Face the facts guys, with no new consoles in the forseeable future, controllers are a MUST for PC gaming. If you want to stick with the KB/mouse (oldschool), maybe you should keep to Diablo/Sim games.

TBH, I think the entire argument is borderline ridiculous for starters. The PC and console war that seems to be raging is just oranges and apples, they're 2 completely different ballgames. Asking for autoaim to be reimplemented is like asking for KB+M support to be implemented into the 360, it just won't happen.

It's completely fair play if you want to use a controller because it feels better in your hand or you perform better whilst using it, but you proceed to yearn for a further advantage. The controller is your choice, if you're good with it then use it how it is and "hand our asses to us" as you put it. Until then, quit whining! If you're still not happy, then stick to your consoles. If you prefer the pc for the better graphics and smoother gameplay then adapt to our playing style. You wouldn't complain that your new Ferrari doesn't come with an added option for a sofa in the front seat because it "fells better"

I agree wit ya on that, I'm new to the whole pc gaming world only about a month now if that, and I prefer to get use to playing with a mouse/keyboard rather then a joystick/controller. If I really want a controller in my hand I will turn on & play my console for that. Also auto aim svcks in any game I wish they did away with that all together but that is just my opinion on the matter.

I'm an avid PC gamer too, but I love my controller... I can't live without it man, the keyboard is too clunky and difficult to use =(
I use my nice lil logitech gamepad to own noobs and my friends online and offline. Why are ya'll PC users bashing controllers so much? I mean just launching Street Fighter 4, or Mortal Kombat 4, MK trilogy, Megaman X8, Blazblue.... Man I just reach instinctively for my controller!

My joke aside, auto aim is soooooo annoying that it's often hard to run in the direction I want because my blasted targeting reticle keeps following players. That I got playing MW2 on a friend's PS3. Why people even like it is beyond me. Helps their "epic" *cough* not really *cough* 360 no scopes though I suppose. Oh, there I go talking about another game again.

Games started on the PC, and, prior to approximately 2005, were made either on PC first then ported to the consoles, OR they were made on the consoles then completely re-written for the PC to take advantage of the PC's capabilities while keeping the game fully functional and still enjoyable (see Grand Theft Auto: Vice City & San Andreas for examples). We do not have a "superiority complex", you console users have this idea that console gaming is on the level of PC gaming. It is a hard, set-in-stone fact that for certain game genres (FPS games, certain RPG games, etc) the PC platform's basic, average skill level is considered elite on the consoles. There are, of course, professional, extreme and master skill levels on the consoles still, but it's not hard for a PC player to match that. Only a real handful of controller users could ever give PC players a run for their money. In other games, like fighting games where it's not dependent on aiming or lag or camping etc, the skills are pretty much closer together. Simple.
FPS games do NOT belong on the consoles as a base. They belong on the PC first, with ported versions sent to consoles. It was that way for years and it worked fantastically, and now the developers are biting the hand that fed them. And you upstarts on a console are trying to compare yourself to us and find a way to level the playing field by claiming that controllers are better to use, but in the same breath admitting that aiming is hard to compete with the keyboard/mouse users because you have a joystick, so you want compensation. This ENTIRE GAME has already been dumbed down for you console users to use it. Back in the old Crysis 1 and 2, you could sprint without dropping suit energy. Armour mode didn't decrease suit power. And you could remain in different modes doing as you pleased with basic bonuses (speed mode increased your normal walking speed and gave reloading a "sleight of hand" feel, and sprinting felt superhuman, but drained energy) that were beneficial and now absent entirely from this game. Stop f*cking complaining, you already got your bonuses in a dumbed down control scheme that we also have to use. If you can't get with using your beloved controller to deal with keyboard/mouse users, that's your problem. You want more graphics than the consoles simply because the PC can push it more than your 5 and 6 year old consoles. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Pick one, and stop whining. That's how we feel. We're already rear-ended with this game, and most other games coming out, and we don't need console users' whiny selves begging for more.

i think some ones begging to be flamed so ill give you it K/B will all ways be better than controllers you don't have limited aim like controllers do also keyboards have more buttons and makes it tank less time to switch weapons on use other functions also your give me auto aim to show the kb/mouse people how to shoots just pointing out that you svck at shooting only one here that's a fan boy is you ok even controller fans know Kb/mouse is better.
