1) Why should I be demoted to console graphics if I like to use a controller?
2) It is really hard to fit my 62" 3D Samsung DLP on my computer stand.
3) If you guys are so good with a kb/mouse, why are you so scared of Auto Aim for controllers (sounds like fanboyism to me)
4) I can't get the leather couch to wrap around my computer desk properly.
Face the facts guys, with no new consoles in the forseeable future, controllers are a MUST for PC gaming. If you want to stick with the KB/mouse (oldschool), maybe you should keep to Diablo/Sim games.
Give me auto aim online (it is in SP) so I can show these kb/mouse fanboyz how to shoot!
1) You shouldn't, but that's the downside of using a console. One of the useful things of a PC is the versatility. While you are able to use a controller, don't expect having an aim assist while playing in competitive environments where the standard is a mouse and keyboard.
2) Irrelevant. It's hard to fit my 35-ton male Sperm Whale on my desktop.
3) Because auto-aim is a mechanic that is an assist similar to racing games that use ABS or assisted braking. People on the PC expect everyone to be playing without that assist in the competitive environment. I've seen people using the aim assist while using a mouse, and really it is a crutch. There's been a number of times where the only reason it's worked is because of that minor snap, and people pick up on it.
4)I can't get my snake to wrap around my chair properly.

Controllers are fine in any game, but the bottom line is that assists that console FPS players rely on are not accepted nor wanted in the PC market. If you want to play online with a controller, that's all fine and dandy, but don't expect the environment to change simply because you use a controller.
Keyboards and Mice work fine for the PC platform, have for years with support for Joysticks and Gamepads working for certain types of games. This is what makes the PC superior in terms of input.
