I've nearly finished an add-on to my Fort Dawnguard Overhaul mod which creates a better Dayspring Canyon entrance. All I need to do is move the two AutoLoadDoor01 activators, un-link them and re-link them when they are in the new position, or so I thought. The issue I'm having is that I when I move the AutoLoadDoor01 activator on the Riften side down the road to the near the border gate, whatever I do in creation kit when I go in-game the activator hasn't moved from original location and only the door marker has moved to the new location. I'm assuming the original AutoLoadDoor01 activator data is saved in the saved game and/or this may all be something to do with that these 'doors' being persistent and referenced by quests.
I could create two new activators, one on the Riften side and the other in Dayspring Canyon and 'Initially Disable' the old ones but the original 'doors' are referenced by quests DLC1VQ01MiscObjective and DLC1HunterBaseIntro. The problem with creating new doors is that the old ones are used by the two quests I've just mentioned. If I 'Initially Disable' the old ones I'll have to edit the two quests so they reference the new doors which means if there are any changes to these quests in the Unofficial Dawnguard Patch they will not be carried over and may conflict with Even Better Quest Objectives etc. Any ideas as to what is the best way of proceeding with this mod?
