I haven't played Fallout 3 in a while and when i played it on Xbox I loved using BIG GUNS and after playing it on the pc again i realized why i went back to xbox. For some reason none of the assault rifles are automatic To even get the minigun spinning i have to rapid tap my mouse and im to young to get carpooltunnel. anybody know why or how to fix this, the guns not being automatic; not the carpooltunnel.

It would also help if anybody knows how I could connect my 360 controller to my PC.

Are you using any mods? Have you patched the game to the latest version?
