Automatron is great! Also post your robotic creations :)

Haha. Just found out you can add ballistic weave to the Mechanist Armor! If it didn't look so damned ridiculous...

So I built a big red hydraulic sentry bot and named him ED-209

Dual gatling lasers and shoulder mounted grenade launchers. All the power necessary to take out a Alpha Albino Deathclaw without any interference from me.

Giving Codsworth assaultron legs has got to be one of the funniest [censored] things I've seen in this game: http://imgur.com/ALH0XGN

Yes, it is a fun DLC.

Bonus points for including a new Permanent Companion, Ada.

As for evil evil robobrain, I just stuck her on a Handy engine and that was it.

I didn't trust her enough to give her weapons or hands!

She didn't like that one bit!

And when the main mission chain was over, I terminated her.

I thought the risk of allowing her to continue functioning was far too great.

I was disappointed I couldn't make them green though, Aqua was as close as I could get.

My Codsworth went full Assaultron. Complete with Gatling Lasers for hands, and he wears the skulls of his enemies as a helmet.

I wish we could take Isabel as a companion too. Or as a romanceable option.

That's weird I get no option to convert Codsworth, does he have to be your companion when you access the workbench?

No, he does not.

He just has to be in the Settlement.

I did some armor upgrades to my loyal Mr Handy friend while Ada was the active Companion.

Well that is weird since he was in the settlement when I built the workbench and I'm getting no option to work on him.

I had the same problem. I eventually had him join me as a companion, and he was suddenly on the list. *shrug*

Maybe talking to him works? But, yeah, I asked him to join me for the workbench to list him. I'll try just talking to him next time.

Remove the Sentry head and put in an Assaultron Laser head to add in bonus damage on top of that.

Even though I said I was going to wait until next week, I just couldn't. And I'm glad I didn't...so much fun.

I'm going to spend hours creating robots. And the fighting in the new quest is spectacular.

As for price, it's less than a burrito.

Burritos cost $10 where you live? Man, those are some expensive Burritos, better be the best damn burritos ever.

I myself am enjoying Automatron too, but not as much as I could be. Thing is, I prefer to go without a companion. I am a Lone Wanderer, Now if robotic companions acted like Dogmeat, and didn't count as companions that would turn off the LW buff, that would be one thing. I am going to be building plenty of bots, but all they will do is end up being robotic settlers.

Also, does anyone know a good place to farm Ceramics? I am low and creating robots require a lot of ceramic.

That's why I don't venture into DC anymore. Unless you pre-game, you will have to take out a second mortgage to even get tipsy...and every group has that guy/girl that wants to buy shots of Patron for everyone and then leaves/passes out before the bill is settled.

my botz

http://imgur.com/a/Nn3ST

First ones my new companion Duracell, hes amazing and can carry 300+lbs

second was my mess around to test things, hes still an amazing settlement guard named Marzymarz

This one is Ada after I spiffed her up

Fourth is the robotic mess I sent to finch farm. They ended up getting attacked a few times in a row so sent Smiles 1.0 to assist.

to mod codsworth I had to go to the settlement he was at and make him my companion then go to the robot machine. Wasn't on the list before then but now he is even not as companion.
