How the hell are you supposed to kill the robots? I can't do anything but rescue the people on the screen.

Edit: Also how about those https://i.imgur.com/5Zy5DL1.jpg https://i.imgur.com/wxk8M1g.jpg?

These robots are soooo useful around my settlements! It's brilliant! No more wasting real settlers on supply lines - just created a dozen "Mr Posties"! If only I could put a Postman Hat on them...

And a custom sentry bot is amazing for settlement defence.

(Not sure how to use the spoiler tag so sorry if anyone considers this as a spoiler)

Its a duel stick shooter. Xbox and PS4 uses the other anologue stick to shoot. Not sure how this is done on PC though, probably click and drag the mouse?

Well its a reason to continue looting all those resources after you've built the settlements and maxed out your weapons.......my home base now has a couple of Sentry bots as guards. Its a shame that Codsworth doesn't get anything from the DLC though as I was going to turn him into a sentry bot.

I have to use a controller because the way dialogue choices are hardcoded. In this holotape game the D-Pad moves the guy so I guess I'll try the right stick next time.

Don't care about the DLC. The concept is just silly to me.

More concerned about the Survival mode release. ...

Weird, I didn't see you "warn" people that it was going to be a fun intereactive and engaging quest alongside the deep customization system. If you played at a high level and it wasn't challanging enough for you that's your own fault. It's easily worth the $10 pricetag for the customization of unlimited robots and awesome huge player home. The quest was fun and added new enemies with even more armor/weapons than I had thought it would. I'd take this over an Operation Anchorage any day

I'm happy I invested in the Robotics Expert perk just before the DLC. :disguise:

I look forward to playing when I get home. Or after a nap at least.

Nope, they supply their own ammo. To use the Robot Repair Kit, run up to a downed robot and press X (on xbox at least). Its the same as using a Stimpack on a downed companion. Also, apparently the robots Left arm is its primary weapon and its Right arm is its secondary. So if you want your robots to use its gun, try putting it on its left arm instead. (I need to test this myself, but its what someone else posted).

I found a blueprint for wall mounted spotlights after finishing the DLC quest. Anyone else know about this?

Unfortunately no. You can find blueprints for a small Eyebot station that you can build in your settlements though. You send the eyebot to find a specific resource for you, after which it tags the location so you can collect it. If you have robotics expert level 3, you can hack the eyebots after deploying them and make them psudo-companions.

Really excited for this DLC now im reading reviews and comments, building robots is going to be so much fun, even tempted to start a new character just to fit the theme.

I had way more fun then expected. my only disappointment is I was hoping for a new type of clothing we could wear under our armor. but I can wait because the assaultron helm is AWESOME, favorite helm in a fallout game yet, I love the fact that it opens or closes deepening on what you are doing.

and I didn't really care about robot crafting going into it but WOW was I wrong. using fully kitted sentry bots as my caravans (I named them "armored bombardment type") is awesome, plus the sheer amount of versions and options you get, I am having a blast making all kinds of different robots for different jobs. the fact that they can replace settlers is awesome.

having a blast I didn't think I would have, totally worth it and the robot options give it great staying power after you beat the quest.
