I don't know anything about the leaks, but I think you're right and the blue robot/narrator is a companion. Or at least, the NPC we meet that starts the questline. She seems cool, very classic sci-fi assistant robot kind of voice - and I think we can fully customize her into any robot, not just a blue Assaultron, even customize her voice.

The robot jumping and stabbing I think was using an Assaultron killcam that already exists in the game. I'm surprised at how well the animations look - I was sure that the biggest hurdle to making robot hybrids was getting them to animate properly, but it actually looks pretty good, like they can just associate animations with the different limbs and it all blends fine.

Am I the only one that was worried this looks too intense to be playing on the new survival mode?

I kinda hope we can name out custom robot creations.

I don't mind looking at feature "spoilers" though, and looks like there's some cool things in the DLC the trailer did not show at all

Is the DLCs story good enough or has a big enough twist for there to really be a spoiler though? I certainly don't consider Dovahkiin defeating Alduin back in Skyrim a spoiler at all but if it's something like how you discover in Fallout 4 that

Man, I don't even want to know if there's a twist! Don't ask! If I know there's a twist, I go through the entire story trying to guess it instead of enjoying the story. I just want some campy sci-fi, and maybe even some Portal style humor mixed in.

Can't really tell how good or long the story is going to be from the leaks. But what the leaks do reveal is the identity of the Mechanist. Which is probably as much as I can say without spoiling anything.

I hope I can make a purple Mr. Handy with different kind of batons on each arm for my lady character's mobile pleasure.
