Imagine if you can cut off NPC's heads and places them on the robots, if you can place skulls.

Then again I think people would complain about torture? Even though it's a video game.

I'm surprised at what looks like a massive amount of customization for the robots. Like, a massive amount of customization. Look at the sentry bot with the skulls and spikes and...and skulls. I think I'm just going to make the biggest death machine possible. So big it will never be able to fit through doors. And it will be cursed with such a life of not fitting through doors only to fuel its rage in wanting to burn the world.

I look forward to this.

I would imagine it being necessary for some higher up robotic modifications. After all, it helps to be an expert at these sort of things.

Well, it's not like there's not a bevvy of skulls to pluck once you fill a Gunner or Raider full of rounds.

I mean, if you're going to put a human skull on a robot, you're already riding eternal on the fury road, if you know what I mean.

Already rumoured around that the Mechanist could be Derek Pacion from Canterbury Commons. He would be the right age, kinda like MacCready...

Looks good! I like the "stabby arms" attack at 0:46 in the trailer. Seems like it will be a fun little quest chain, too.

Edii: I guess that's the existing Assaultron Dominator special attack. Still, I'd like to kit out a robot companion with that.

On the flipside, I get the feeling that the Mechanist's robots might have some resistance to Robotics Expert, otherwise anyone with even one rank of that perk could utterly cheese every one of the Mechanists minions. One of the patches updated Robotics Expert so now you can use it freely in combat, essentially making every robot a non-issue.

I'm imagining some sort of symbiotic joining; neither would rely on the other, but having both would yield something greater than either could produce alone.

...If true, I wonder if he'll make a mention of the Lone Wanderer trying to get him and the Antagonizer to knock off their [censored]. Well, then again, you could side with one or the other in that quest...If it IS the one from Fallout 3, I wonder how they'll explain the events at Canterbury...
