[RELz] AutoMW - Improved Morrowind Enhanced, New AutoSave Sy

That's good to note. I was always hesitant to use MWE because of those reported issues. Thanks for the hard work.

Cool. I've been using AutoMW since the initial release.
Glad to see this awesome little utility updated.

Installation was successful and all... but Auto-Trance does not work in my game, even though AutoMw_Core.esp and AutoMW_AutoTrance.esp are both installed and checked in Data Files.
I have MWE_Core.esp checked (from Morrowind Enhanced 1.6). (however, even without it, Auto-Trance did not work)

Do I have to download and install Combat Enhanced too?

I do not have ACE_Subtitles, so there's no possible incompatibility there.

Any help is appreciated.

To reply to your post ridiculously late, yes, Combat Enhanced is required. Hopefully, you're still on the boards, see this message, and actually care whether or not this works.

Since AutoMW wasn't one of the greatest hits ever, I only check this thread every 6 months or so :P

I loved it, for the combat trance, but ME tends to corrupt my saves, which is a no-no.

I used Morrowind Enhanced 1.6 for an entire playthrough of the game, and never experienced a corrupt savegame. (for what it's worth)

is there a way to implement a feature that creates a new save file after a time has passed instead of overwriting the quick-save file?

Not really. Generating an honest-to-Talos save file requires navigating through the save game menus, which wouldn't exactly be graceful looking from an automation perspective. And Morrowind's scripting system doesn't have a command to force a save. It was the best I could pull off.

By some very strange twist of fate, AutoMW was voted Morrowind Nexus File of the Month, April 2013. Thanks!

I launch Morrowind Enchanced from AutoMW Launcher and launch Morrowind from MwE. But autoMW close MWE and Morrowind all times after 5 sec I try to play. What wrong with this thing?

You're probably not using Morrowind Enhanced 1.6. You must use the latest version.

That error is caused by AutoMW trying to find MWE after it has launched, and can't find it because you are using an unsupported version. I admit that my error messaging could have been a lot better.

the link to Morrowind Enhanced v1.6 from your quickstart page goes to planet elder scrolls which ends in a page load time out. Update link please?

Oh my god, amazing work, really great with a lot of options and optimizations!

Does this work with MGSO 3.0?

YES!

You need to click on the Quick setup link on the op and you have to install AutoIT but since MGSO 3.0 already comes with mgeXE you don't need to do anything else. Just skip the next download step and ignore the instructions for MGE. If you use Morrowind Enhanced then you have that option as well.

I don't use MWE but I am looking into it. I have been using this mod with MGSO 3.0 for a little while now without any issues. It is a great auto save program with a deliciously simple installation process. Remember you will now be starting MW through this program and not the MW launcher.

Brilliant program, enjoy it.

EDIT: In the installation process you will come to a point where you have to make a decision about what type of OS you have; 64bit or the other 32bit choice that is recommend for compatibility. I have a 64bit os but I chose the recommended compatibility choice. It seems to be working fine for me. To be honest I didn't really know what to do here but I figured that it was a 50/50 choice and that for a first installation try I might as well go with the recommended settings and then completely screw everything up at a later time XDD

Is it important to install AutoIT to the C:? I don't install programs there by default, but this program wants to install there. If it's not necessary, I'd much rather install to another drive/directory.

EDIT: Installed as requested for now.

Something goes wonky with my FOV when I run through this. When I'm just using MGE, it's fine, but when I run through this program (with MGE) my character is stretched horizontally. The menus appear fine, but the ingame FOV is borked.

EDITx2: It seems to only happen with FPS Optimizer.. Weird. Something is playing wrong with my wrapper. Could it be because I'm in Borderless fullscreen window?

EDITx3: Found the issue with FPS Optimizer, if anyone cares and didn't know. On misc/2 there is a setting for aspect ratio and FOV.
