Autonomous Leveling (AL) Beta V.1.0 Readme

------What does this mod do?-------

( Note: Autonomous Leveling relies on MCP's Uncapped Skills and Attributes options. )

This is a simple experimental mod for those who like the idea of playing the game without worrying about where to distribute all of your points during level up. Autonomous Leveling reworks the leveling system of Morrowind by making attributes increase automatically as related skills are increased. Additionally leveling up your character each time now requires a random number of skill increases (ranging anywhere from 7-13) as opposed to the original and predictable 10 point requirement. This is intended to add realism by simulating learning at different paces as various life events and challenges are presented to your character. You will still be required to access the level up menu each time you are ready to gain a level however selecting an attribute at this screen will have no permanent effect on your attributes. All skills count as one point towards leveling up whether they are major, minor, or miscellaneous skills.

It is as simple as that. For more detailed information you can check out the list below. It shows which attributes the given skill affects and how many points it puts towards increasing those attributes each time you raise that skill.

------Requirements-------

Morrowind, Tribunal, and Bloodmoon.

This mod requires the newest version of Morrowind Script Extender by Merzasphor. Check this thread for the download link and information: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1509809-expanding-mwse/

The Morrowind Code Patch is also required for its "Uncap Skills" and "Uncap Attributes" options. Be sure to have ALL of these items checked when applying the patch.

------Installation and Playing-------

Extract the rar archive file directly into your Morrowind/ folder. Make sure the .esp file is in the "data files" folder.

After that, check off Autonomous Leveling.esp in your Morrowind Launcher.

------Uninstalling-------

Delete the "Autonomous Leveling.esp" file.
