TEXT DESCRIPTION:

Rubber bands can be wrapped around controllers to hold joysticks in various positions - thus automating control functions.

Above is what I use to keep moving when overloaded on those long, long walks back to my stash in a lot of these games.

A rubber band is wrapped around the controller to hold the left stick pulled straight forward, leaving the right stick available for steering and navigation

Nice trick!

My solution: don't make those walks. If it takes that long, I don't need it. :P

In the early game I am usually hunting for new places and lots of kills - so being able to point a char at the far horizon while watching a movie or rebuilding a carburettor is pure gravy to me.

PC: Autorun/walk key

That'll handle it.

But for controllers perhaps there ought to be a function similar to rapidfire for the joysticks.
