I like it a lot. Top 4 in marvel movies

Hawkeye was great
Loved scarlet witch and possible future hints
Hulk battle in middle was fantastic.
Downey was great . Even woodchopping was fun

I expect several characters will die in infinity war

Is next movie ironman/shield vs cap/spidey?

Next movie is Ant-Man this July. But yes, the next "big" one is Cap America: Civil War.

It'll have Cap, Iron Man, and supposedly Black Panther/SpiderMan.

I'm going to see this movie this weekend. I havent been too terribly excited for it, as i saw it more as a transition movie to the good stuff. It just seems like this movie was gonna be more like an iron man sequel, while the next captain america seems more like it's gonna be an avengers movie, if you get what im trying to say. Still, i might be pleasantly surprised (like i was with the first avengers movie), and i know that this movie is leading to the greater things like the infinity war, which i cant wait for.

I saw it over the weekend in a sold-out IMAX theatre, and rather enjoyed it. I don't expect too much out of a comic book movie, so I wan't really disappointed at all. :)

I do have two main gripes though (only two? I must be slipping :P )-

The origin of Ultron: seemed incredibly rushed, and I don't see how Stark thought his (super science) equipment could work with pre-universal impossibility that's 'infinite'

Forced romance: Black Widow and Banner? I really don't think that should happen, for one thing Banner should still be in love with Betsy, even though the Avengers movies never mention her. It seems too much like the Tauriel and Killi love story, filler that didn't need to be there

Not seen it yet, but there was one picture I saw online of it, and it looked amazing.

When Vision

Spoiler
lifts Thor's hammer and casually hands it to him.

Oh god yas.

About that scene:

Spoiler
The best part is the look on Thor's face. Compare it to the earlier scene with Cap which is also on the internet. The reason for Thor's anxiousness was not something unworthy as envy. It was the seriousness of realizing that there might be another worthy one in the universe. Anxiousness caused by the expectation of finding a worthy friend...

People misunderstood Thor. Petty humans... I enjoyed the heck of that scene. It was the highest point of the movie for me. I have no comic book knowledge whatsoever. They still managed to get me to care for that scene a great deal by building it up for several movies via characterization. That's commendable in a blockbuster.

It's was an alright movie. It had it's high points but overall it was just an explosion fest for the kids.

Did grow to like Hawkeye a little more.

I didn't like Ultron at all. It felt like the writers didn't know who they were writing for and tried to emulate what made Loki great. I don't know, I guess I was expecting something closer to SHODUN or GLaDOS or HAL. The movie itself was about what I expected; an explosion fest and a fun mindless film
