43 here.
And like all of us I can feel that this violent game is interacting with my real life as like the papers say: at work I am constantly stalking and sniping my co-workers :p

27 here. Before December of this past year the last video game I played was mario on nintendo64. This december got an xbox and COD-BO. Then C2 came out its the only game I've played since. Then in april I saw the light and built a pretty sweet 3d rig. Sold the xbox a week later. the pc gaming experience is light years ahead of consoles right now and I like the (sometimes) more mature community for pc. Oh and yea my wife is sorry she ever let me build a rig bc our office has turned into my personal work stationwhich I'm currently in the process of doing my first water cooling. My wife is like WTF is that??? Lol

lol coolguycooldude,
we started gaming early i guess.... we had multiplayer games with lame graphics back then... which seemed so advanced at that time...

like Doom multiplayer, Heretic, Quake 1. Last time there were no lobbies where you can search for server... you have to 'call' your friend's modem IP to play at amazingly slow telephone speed. There were other 'fake 3D' games like wolfenstein, rise of the triads, hexen, duke nukem 3d.

Games that made history were Quake 2, Halflife, Counterstrike, Unreal Tournament...which made their game engines available for other ppl to make games...such as the Quake engine, halflife engine, UT engine.....

these sparked off other more advanced gaming engines like the Frostbite in battlefield, and cryengine.

younger generation guys like you are luckier to start off with beautiful games like these... who knows what type of games we will see in 10 years time :P

Maybe a few of you tell lies, I do not fully believe that half of us here are 30+ years old.

Or maybe it's because only the slightly older players has enough intellect to write posts and discuss topics. Most of the younger teenagers and 10 year olds think nothing of writing or even trolling, they are too busy not using their heads.

I'm a few months away from a certain age, as for your average Crysis 2 age, I'm well below 30.
