Is it possible to bypass the tutorial and enter the wasteland rapidly with a new char?

Absolutely! Keep a save (I think the game makes one for you anyway) right before you enter the Wasteland where you have the last chance to modify your character. No need to ever do the tutorial again.

I wondered why the game Autosaved on you just before you enter the wasteland. That probably explains it.

I seriously recommend doing a proper save yourself, autosaves are notoriously buggy in Beth's games

the thing is do full saves often. i just have an auto save when waiting or sleeping. using autosaves isn't a bad thing if you do full saves often. sometimes the game crashes and the autosave was the last save.

I make sure all auto saves are turned off and then just use hard saves.

It worked, thanks and nice trick.

Subsidiary question, where are the saved put? I have 133 in store and want to clean up in a faster way than doing it in-game?

Back up the important ones while you're in there ;)

Keep a saved game before you exit vault 101.
