Do you guys think you could record some gameplay of infestation and/or predator hunt? I honestly CANNOT wait till tomorrow.

I don't understand all the people/reviews that say the graphics are subpar, I think they're awesome. Methinks people have crazy expectations these days.

Same. I don't even play the demo at highest (my CPU is close to retirement) and there is no DX10 or DX11 support in the demo and it still looks great. I don't know what people are expecting from it.

Predators are pretty sweet, but the Marine is my favourite. I don't think the Marine gets the credit he deserves, everyone thinks he's weak compared to the other two, but the way I play as the Marine, the other two species check for me under their bed before they go to sleep. :P

 I don't know, on a scale of awesomeness and overall strength in fighting abilities, it goes like this: Predator>Marine>Alien

Aliens have strength in numbers, and that's about it. They really have nothing going for them other than being scarily stealthy and able to climb walls, as well as the massive hordes of them that can spring up out of nowhere.

Marines ARE cool, they are trained and they're packin' some serious firepower in most cases, but I guess the Alien movies kind of ruined their image for me, "Its over man!"

Predators... do I need to say more? Firepower, incredible martial abilities, kick ass dreads, as well as some of the best technology and tactics in the galaxy. Once more, :mohawk:

So what are you guys gonna do first when you get it? I'll probably play a few matches of predator hunt and infestation and then go to the predator campaign.

And yet, the Marines get slaughtered :hehe: Do I need to say more?

Apparently Sigourney Weaver is the best Marine... go figure.

I'm going to play on the hardest difficulty possible, to get ready for the multiplayer game.

I wish I could first play the multiplayer games, then breeze through the single player; but knowing me I'll start with the SP first.

There is an Android in the first and second movie. It was the crazy model in the first one that made Ripley distrust Androids so much. Bishop in the second one redeemed them in her eyes ever so slightly. She ended up being... friends I guess with him.

Also overall how are reviews looking for this game?

Um, yeah, I know.
I think Ripley started to trust him more, when she saw his honesty. She wanted the dissected facehuggers destroyed, and he told her that Burke wanted them. He even added he was very specific about it, as if to say I can't really disobey the order, but I thought you should know. Volunteering to go remote pilot the dropship (he was the only one qualified anyway) in possible danger, and refusing to take Vasquez's pistol with him (probably a sacrifice, to leave the humans some extra protection) in light of Hudson's blatant and useless cowardice probably earned him a little more respect from her. When she rescued Newt and saw that the dropship was gone, she probably assumed the worst - betrayed again by a synthetic. It was when he apologized and explained why he did it that she was about ready to give him a hug - until the queen wanted to see what his guts looked like.

But I'm definitely going to be checking it out, even if all the reviews are bad.

The GI review was retarded. He denounces the alien because it does not take a single hit to kill somebody.....wow.....

The flashlight isnt bright enough and the audible ping takes away from the horror (I think it does the exact opposite).....

And the Predator revolves around being too stealthy......

Has he ever seen a Predator/Alien movie?

This.

I dont understand what they were expecting.

Getting the game in an hour or so.

So far the game is so fun. I played survivor, team deathmatch, and a little of predator hunt. I played a little of the first mission of the predator campaign.

EDIT: And they fixed the blinding muzzle flash! (at least on 360)

Gamepost gave the game 5.5 on the console versions.

Yet the user scores got an 8.0.

Reminds me why I never follow these mainstream reviews.

I don't understand those reviews at all. The demo is tons of fun and it's easily the worst game mode in the whole game. There seem to have been some really good reviews so far and some really bad ones, so maybe it's a game that you either love or hate. Like marmite.

I'll be getting it as soon as this painful stiff neck goes away.

What's the predator gameplay like?

It pretty fun, but when I was playing predator in pred. hunt I shot a plasma caster and all my energy got drained... so they must've made it like that in in pred. hunt.
