I did this the other day and came across so many random encounters and locations. I followed the Khajiit caravans from Riften to Dawnstar which took about 2 in game days. On the way we fought off dozens of creatures and found several new locations with quests involved. There is a lot more time to admire the beauty since the caravans walk.. when you're running all the time there is a lot to miss.

I just might try this.

Nice play, walking is what i would be doing ever if it wasn so slow.
A normal person walk 5km/h a slow person 3km/h a fast person up to 7km/h...
In skyrim we are walking the speed of an old woman with artrosis.
