Awesome weapon attachments in multi, lacking in campaign?

Why is it that in multiplayer I feel like I can customize my weapons to fit my play style, but the campaign is missing most of the attachments? It's basically a down grade from Crysis 1. Anyone know what is up with the move away from customization?

Because there were two teams working on the game, one for the campaign and one for the multiplayer, but i think there was about the same amount of attachments in the first game as there are in this

There are about the same, but where is the sniper scope on the SCAR, or duel pistols and extended mag for the hammer can't hurt. I guess what I'm trying to ask what would it take to bring the multiplayer attachments to the single player game plus Crysis 1 gun mixing action?

i think with all of the completely unbelievable stuff going on in the game, they wanted to make the weapons believable, but who knows, maybe there'll be a singleplayer DLC in the future that will add more attachments, no way to know until it happens

The campaign has Exclusive attachments and the multi has exclusives.

I.E the AY69 in campaign can have a Reflex sight on.

I.E. The marshall can have the extended mags attachment.

gee - wheres the love - I cant see past the whinging and gripeing about the what if and wheres the? I think some people live by their gamertag GOD and that news of the world is CONSOLE only. You are really in need of getting some fresh air. Like its nice to think that this game has alternatives and choices, but the same old mundane is something we can do without. Your statement of sameness is poor sighted. For this I have to tell you - the game developers have taken a step in the right direction and I damnwell hope that they continue to improve toward a new benchmark in the AI. You've gotten your beautiful graphics with the new game engine. Now its going to take a while for CRYTEK to work on the AI in their next game. This is part of the evolution of game design and you want it all at once. Well its just not going to happen, because building engines takes a lot of time, and you only experience the end result of the many years it takes to output a beautiful engine like this one. IT will serve CRYTEK at least 3 or possibly 4 games into the future and if you are still playing console games in 10 years time, you will look back and realise that time serves a purpose in R&D that cannot be shortened or short tracked as seen in other game releases that are trying to be better than what their game engine can manage (E.G. TDU2).

I agree with you, devs should never cut corners, but I was not trying to start a whine-fest. I was just asking why and how about the weapon attachments. Be that as it may, let's just say Crysis 2 is a WIP still.

Crysis 1 definately does not have as much attachments as Crysis 2, this is fact. A grenade launcher, a sleep dart and a flashlight? I've played the game multiple times and never found anything else.
