Been a while since I've posted, I know I've asked this question before but maybe different opinions will arise. I was thinking Nord, obviously, with Steel, working my way up to dragonbone, but, do you think Axe and Shield with heavy armor would look a little silly?

Not as silly as a heavy armor wearing assassin.

I think it would look great really, axe is my favorite one handed weapon type.

Well, I try to go for realistic builds only. I might go for orc, not sure..

Nords love Axes, and splitting Skulls open is a Nordic Tradition.

Well, do you have to wear heavy armour?

I generally find heavy armour looks silly, with a couple of exceptions (ancient nord and maybe dawnguard), not sure why axe and shield specifically is weird with heavy armour.

Depends on the armor.. Axe and shield is fine
