No matter how annoying he is, I think there would be a huge hole in the game without him. And, i'm sure Skyrim has a Dive Rock equivalent. :flamethrower::shocking:

Roll a Bosmer down the 7000 steps, follow it with zoomed in bow view, perfect test of Creation Engine and Havok Behaviour.

Hopefully Skyrim will be the first ES game that doesn't include a Bosmer Scarehetero that drags the whole race in the mud.

A bit of me thinks that Bethesda should throw a curve and offer up a likable and useful Bosmer [...and maybe even female and somewhat attractive] as the ultimate c-c-c-combo-breaker.

I think that the specific character we saw in Oblivion would be dead after two hundred years. Besides, you can't have an Adoring Fan if there's nothing to be adored for, the Adoring Fan only appeared after you became the Grand Champion, so assuming the Arena doesn't return, what would he adore us for?

Now, I'm sure we'll see an annoying character in Skyrim, or perhaps multiple ones, but I doubt it will be one returning from past games, and I wouldn't want it to be, Bethesda should at least try to be original even when it comes to ways to annoy us. Hopefully this time around, it won't be a Bosmer either, while past games have portrayed them as being pretty good at being annoying, I think it's only fair to give other races a chance to produce some annoying characters, just for variety, and to prove that other races are capable of being annoying too. Maybe Skyrim's annoying character should be a Dunmer, just so we can see how the people obssessed with them react to that.

No. It would, however, be nice for a quest to include executing someone at the top of Skyrim's 'dive rock' and throwing the body down the mountain. You know, just as a nice nod to it in Oblivion. Do not want an adoring fan again though, ever, ever again! :flamethrower:

With all the mountains and high peaks in the game I'd be surprised if there wasn't an equivalent.

I wouldn't mind having a handy companion for my adventures in Thief Land. Having a genuinely useful, intelligent, and likable companion goes a long way.

Dont be fooled, everybody adores the adoring fan but they just dont want to admit it, why else would they let him follow them and watch them and worship the ground they walk on?
