As we all know, it's been two hundred years since the events in oblivion. This means the adoring fan is long dead :D

So how was he killed? Post your story of his death!

In my version of the story, he isn't dead.

He followed the Champion to Oblivion and back, and then joined up with the Knights of the Nine and did some adventuring of his own. He matured quite a bit during his travels with the Grand Champion, and during his service for the Knights, Talos himself bestowed upon him the gift of immortality. :celebration:

He could still be alive. He was an elf, after all.

His corpse was found at the bottom of Dive Rock, no one really knows what happened.

The grand champion grew annoyed with his biggest fan and bludgeoned him to death in full view of the Imperial guards.

I never spoke to him, I never acknowledged him; I assume he died of old age.

He followed me, so I slaughtered him. I butchered him like a hog, and laughed as I did so.

What is the typical lifespan of the Mer races in the ES lore? Are they like Tolkien elves that are immortal unless they are killed in violence, or are they like D&D elves that can just live for about 700 years?

I put a frenzy spell on him... The guards did the rest.

I think I read around 1,000 years.

The first Altmer King lived about 3000 years. He ruled for all of the First Era. They are also masters of magic because they have centuries to practive their craft. This means they live a while, though I doubt all are 3000 years old, maybe like a few hundred is an average. No one really knows, and it isn't reflected in game either.

If I'm not mistaken, Bosmer and Dunmer live about the same length as humans, and Altmer have lives that are a few hundred years long.

I'm not too sure, though.

He didn't die. He waited patiently until after the events of Oblivion and murdered the Champion of Cyrodiil, becoming the new Sheogorath!

By Azura, all will know madness!!
