This is the last small update before I release the Shrine of Mephala.
I went ahead and made Mephala Touched heads for Bretons, High Elves,
Imperials, Nords, and Wood Elves (in addition to the ones that I had already
made for the dark elves).

I actually came across it in-game today, going to get the Star quest from the shrine. I use the gold statue version. Looks lovely. For extra atmosphere I'd made some passive Winged Twilights to prowl around the interior and added some rays of light by Qarl too.

Fantastic mod. When i visited Azura's shrine for the first time i didn't like her statue.
Knotted hair doesn't fit for Azura and makes her older. With this mod she is restored to the original settings, just like the lore and oblivion.
I would like to use it, but i have one question. Can you use this with an existing savegame?
Because i play MW now for a while and have the quest for Azura already done. At this moment i'm just at the point where i have to go to Kogoruhn first to obtain the third trial. Since this mod also change the appearance of Azura in some sortkind of fmv's i wonder if i use this mod that this will cause a crash when a scene is loaded then.

Indeed, this can be used with any game (current save or new game), as this is not a plugin/.esp but a direct mesh replacer (with unique textures).

EDIT: Also, FMVs are unaffected (they are prerecorded movies separate from the meshes and textures included in this mod).

I have installed it and it worked. I went directly to the statue and the shrine beneath it.
Looks much better now. I don't know about the "creature" and actually i don't know even what you mean with that. I was thinking first it was something with fmv's, but since you say it doesn't touch it now i don't know it anymore.
Have seen Azura only in statue form so far.

the end of both the MW and Tribunal quest.
She isn't really a creature: You can't attack her. She appears, says something, and then disappears again. Anyway, that Azura is also replaced.

An FMV (full motion video) is a pre-recorded movie/cinematic that pauses gameplay to play out (like the beginning movie and Werewolf transformation cinematic) . The encounters with Azura in game are scripted an occur in "real-time" (and not movies like a general FMV). Azura, is indeed, a creature (the same as Vivec, Almalexia, and Dagoth Ur). I made the mod, so I am pretty sure that I know what has been done and what the contents are :P .

As Povuholo said,

Azura appears at the end of the Main Quest after the final battle with Dagoth Ur and
the Heart of Lorkhan
. So in any instance where you encounter Azura (the creature), she will be changed to
my version (and a removal of my meshes will change her back).

She is a creature in the way that many other apparent NPCs are actually creatures - Dagoth Ur, Vivec and Almalexia, for example. The reason creatures are used are because they have no standard dialogue and have unique animations. If you had Azura as an NPC and not a creature, for example, she would say "E-e-excuse me, Nerevarine ..." and witter on about Solstheim! :blink:
The reason you cannot attack her is because the DisablePlayerControls function is activated.

Westly is correctly referring to the physical appearances of Azura in the game, and not the cinematics.
