Wouldn't it be awesome if Babette were adoptable?

For that matter wouldn't a "Castle Dracula" style update for Hearthfire be cool?

Imagine telling Babette to do her choirs in a grand ball room with Gargoyles leering from overhead....

She might happilly chirp "OK!" and skip off to the cellar....returning moments later with a sobbing cattle in tow... she points and he/she lays down with a whimper of dread anticipation.

"Tables set, "Pa"!" She puts a saracastic emphasis on the last word before "Diving" into the meal.

If Serana were present she might scold-

"Babette, after three centuries I would think you would know to bite a more tender spot.... when you hurt the cattle just so the blood flows that much easier."

Moments later the dinner item screams.

Speaking of Serana, of course it'd be cool to marry her, but only if it were handled in an appropriately vampiric fashion, like some kind of "Dark" wedding presided over by a dremora and with a full buffet of Cattle- all races- hanging upside down over crystal glasses stacked in a pyramid that collected their blood each time they were milked. We could throw in a few vampiric or thrall bards to provide some music .... I could go on and on but I guess its better to put the idea out there than rant.

babette is 300 years older than the dragonborn. Just the thought of "adopting" her is creepy

You know Babette is going to be older than your character, right? Unless you're RPing a +300 mer, she's going to be much much older than your character, and she'd probably be the one to adopt you.

Also, as an assassin, I'm sure Babette knows how to kill much more stealthily than Serana, even with little girl vampire fangs.

Although random visits from characters who got a high disposition from you would be fine.

I thought the insinuation I'd made with Babette being adopted -via her sarcastic inflection on the word "Pa"- made it clear it was a mere pretense for the prey in whatever town they lived. It would obviously be more of a friendship fellow hunter arrangement than a true blue "Come sit on my lap for bed time stories adoption". I guess I should paint out EVERY detail for an idea?

Ok.

1. She would only be an "Adoption" -again, a mere pretense or predatory deception- option for vampires or members of the Dark Brotherhood.

2. This would open up the possibilty of "Atmospheric" quests.... like "Stocking the storeroom" might be where you go into town with Babette and assist her in luring prey back to the home.

Sure Babette is more than capable of fending for herself, this idea would be appealing just because of the dark fun to be had in playing with your food before supper time!

Why would she want to be adopted? She's an advlt.

And as for your "Castle Dracula"

Why in the world would someone her age want to be adopted let alone need to be adopted? Now I'm sure theres a mod for this, theres a mod for dang near everything, but this doesn't really make sense.
