Which melee weapon is all around better?

Thermic Lance + VATS= Usually an instant vats kill.


It's an all around B.A. weapon, but it takes up a bit of AP. I love the special vats move of it. I like the super sledge...but the rust on the oh baby! is unattractive.

Thermic Lances have no chances of scoring a critical attack so using Heavy Handed on it helps a lot. If you use VATs a lot I'd say the Lance.
