I think he was blown away by the content inside the issue, not just the cover.

The issue might just tell the back story for the game. The back story is mind blowing. I think there is a thread around here about it and it blew my mind for sure.

At first I thought a conclusion with the Dovahkiin ascending to join the pantheon of gods would be cool, but then I guess that would make the post-main-quest gameplay rather unusual....

I thought I would give you my take on it and if you agree you can post your thoughts on it. First of all, so many people are saying that Alduin is the avatar of Akatosh when the lore says that he resembles Akatosh but is a seperate being. Also some others are taking "Swallow the world" literally but I take that as Alduin will extend his control over the entire world. As for the people that say that every TES game is about saving the world when only one had that and it was Oblivion. Arena was trying to save the emperor. Daggerfall was many routes but the majority was to stop the Numidium from being used to conquer something. Morrowind was to stop Dagoth Ur from taking over Vvardenfell. But that's all I have to say about it. If you agree you can post what I said but you don't have to mention me lol, I just wanted to tell someone else what I thought about the posts in that thread lmao. I don't want you to think I'm a freak randomly messaging a random person, I just remember you from several threads and we agreed on a few issues.

Alduin is not an avatar of Akatosh. Alduin is the destroyer. Which means he is Akatosh, who is the preserver, who is Lorkhan, who is the creator. Remember, in TES gods can be and not be things that are mutually exclusive. And Alduin does, literally, eat the world. That is his function as a divine force. And it's just upping the scale again. Oblivion was saving the world, Morrowind was saving the living things on it, Daggerfall was stopping a war, Arena was saving a person. Skyrim will be saving all of space-time as Tamrielans know it (the kalpa).

Maybe after the destruction of the Amulet of Kings, whatever treaty or agreement Alessia made with Akatosh is forfeit, so now he can become an invader of Tamriel.

I've been trying to drill the real lyrics into my brain. It's hard when I still think I hear ENGLISH in there.

It's going to be an attempt of mine to learn how to write it, just for the hell of it, and write coded messages that nobody but me can understand.

Lorkhan is (allegedly) the God of Space. Akatosh is the God of Time. Without Space there can be no Time. Without Time there can be no Space. Which one came first? The answer is both and neither- both are the same being, like the opposite sides of the same coin. Without the other one cannot exist.

Thats what i am trying to do but even than it is hard since we only have a few words and symbols to go by

it might be helpful in game if you can read it without having to break out a decoder from an old magazine
of course, we still wouldn't have every word unless it is an actual language, and it has been thoroughly decoded

Oh holy crap. This is so awesome. I am so pumped to see this game now. It seems that they are indeed using MK's writings on the subject, such as the Seven Flights of the Aldudagga.
