It started with one of my quests for the dark brotherhood when I had to kill a warmaiden. I got caught, went to Cidna mine, escaped, blah blah blah. Came back to Markarth again later 'cause someone else wanted the same woman dead so after she respawned I had to kill her again. I've gotten the same quest over four times now but I can't go back to Cidna mine anymore so how do I get the guards of Markarth off my back since it's too late to pay them off?

It's called Sneak Attacks. Helps every time.
