They look great, but when I right-click and make it my desktop, it cuts off the far left and right, even if I center it.

Try stretching it, which basically means, "squeeze it all to fit in my screen"

Otherwise it's due to your resolution being too small, or the monitor you use has edges concealing part of the display.

I made the text from shadowbeast368's wallpaper slightly brighter. http://i.min.us/iTkTk.png

Oh, nice. Good call, I did notice the text was a little dark.

I just made another one which focus more on the stone carving, showing Dovahkiin and the dragon. It has the release date, symbol, and Skyrim logo on it. Again it's in 16:10 aspect and 1920x1200 resolution.

I guess I don't like it as much as my other one, but I like having the variety since I use a wallpaper slideshow program.

Haha I know what you mean. I actually combined MC.Jesus' dark borders and Suffcas the lit up text to my own original wallpaper. Also if your interested there's a program called http://www.gphotoshow.com/wallpaperss.htm which you can add different wallpapers to and have them change automatically after a specified period of time.

I find the logo and texts blends in too much.. perhaps a shadow drop or something similar to make it stand out.

I can stretch it, but it scrunches it all up weird. Unfortunately, my resolution can't get any bigger than it is (1280 x 1024) as far as I know. Ah well, sooner or later there will be official ones that are available for different resolution sizes.

Well I did add transparency because I though the logos stood out too much and looked a bit awkward. A drop shadow would also work, I'm working on that right now.

[Edit] Okay, I just added a dark shadow to the back of my second wallpaper: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3593710/Skyrim-Wallpaper2.png

Haha, I feel ya. If I had two monitors I'd use both... or maybe a giant resolution of the panorama going across both screens

Ah, oh well. I'm just using a slide show for now. It surprises me :ninja:

I actually did this within about an hour of the web page going up. Mine weren't as nicely don't though. The damn thing flickers so 2 of the 4 were darker. Ohh well. This guy did it better so good on him :)
EDIT: My http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1148104-elder-scrolls-teaser-page-is-live/page__st__20__p__16782662#entry16782662 , and the http://imgur.com/cGCFJ. This guy definitely did it better though.

Yeah, I can't imagine how difficult it must be to try combining screenshots. I was lucky enough to use my works 3 monitors in panoramic mode to get my single screenshot. Nice effort none the less MouseMage! :icecream:

Here's my contribution:

http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/8803/tesvwallpaper.png

I basically took shadowbeast's "full mural w/ logos", increased the brightness and contrast of the logos, and slapped on the full resolution 6000 x 1488 pixel mural. I like the high resolution mural more because everything in the mural can been seen, whereas before parts of the mural were too dark.

Yeah, the res PureLight captured that image at is amazing!! This is a really good version. Thanks for posting! I'll add it to the OP with proper credits.

On a side note, I started playing around with the HD video clip of the SKYRIM vid. Found a pretty good still to work off of. If anyone wants to make improvements or create their own similar clip, be my guest. The best res could get was 1680x1050. Still looks nice though.

Improved the contrast of the logos a little more, specifically the dragon as it was just a little washed out. Here's the updated one: http://img686.imageshack.us/img686/8803/tesvwallpaper.png

The dragon eye is cool. Do you have a 1080p copy of the trailer?

I like that a LOT. You should put TESV: Skyrim all at the top and the dragon diamond at the bottom. And borders.

Edit: Or just TES: Skyrim in the bottom right corner.

@archmage: I have a copy of the trailer in 1080p. Do you need it?

I'll try playing around with the logos a bit more. I wasn't really all that happy with their placement to begin with, just limited with the amount of time I can work on this while at work.

EDIT: http://i.min.us/idsP4E.png
If I had better editing tools, I'm sure I could get the logos to look more highres
