Suboimage of area around the Daedric Oht (looks like an Obvlivion gate):
The low right figure seems most likely Yagrum Bagarn, but I'm not in the mood to
argue the point.
The "upside-down U" glyph, I first assumed to be another Daedric glyph, but in
fact it is the 'dot' inside the Oht character. So it might merely be a stylistic
flourish. However, the 'gate' appears to be in front of a shallow cut into the
stone, separated into lower and upper portions, with a central 'belt' upon which
the dot is carved.
My choice of contrast reveals what appear to be three small figures (or, for all
I can tell, candles) in the upper area. I suggest that this is showing a
small shrine, dedicated to some Daedric power. But the object above it appears
to be some sort of fortified building. Perhaps the sketch is figuratively
showing us a hidden (underground, cthonic) shrine? Also, the shrine and tower
are aggressively offset from the rest of the areaby being carved deeply into
the rock.
Speculation: The glyph is in fact a sort of keyhole. The supplicant comes for
knowledge. Azura and Hermaeus Mora spring to mind as likely sources for esoteric
information. The way this area is offset from the rest means merely that it is hidden
from most people. The PC, of course, is not most people and will almost certainly
visit it in the course of the MQ.
