Backing out of Forced Level Up (PC)

Post » Tue May 29, 2012 6:52 pm

I saved up a few levels and would like to pay for training in between level ups.

I am able to spam Escape after verifying my stat choice to back out halfway, letting me pay for training for half of my levels.

Is there a better way to do it?

I tried the console command 'save' but it said I couldn't save at that time.

Thanks for your input.

you are forced to increase only magicka, health or stamina at level up, you can save your perk points for later

I found if you spam TAB as soon as you assign the Health/Stamina/Magicka sometimes you can get out of the menu, but it can be quite difficult. I bet there's some easier way through the console, I'm just not sure what...

it's not about perk points, it's about training from NPCs, if you chose the health/magicka/stamina option you level up and loose that level's chance to train with an NPC. the perk points don't effect that one way or the other.

oh i see now, well the moment you go to the level up screen you have no choice but to level up, so if you want to take advantage of training for that level you should wait until you get to a trainer and train before opening the level up screen, theres no other way, aand you cant train between multiple level ups, theres no way to exit the screen that i know off atleast

you could just use the console to advance the skill you want to train in 5 times to make up for the missed training....

How do you drop the gold? I would say drop the gold for the training in a river or lake.

You might be able to pickpocket the gold to the NPC, not sure as I have never tried.

player.removeitem f 100

where 100 is the amount of gold you want to remove.
