Backward Flying Dragon : V

I am experiencing a backward flying dragon right now...

Is anyone else having the same issue?

Yes, I have, I tried to put it out of it's misery but that thing spazzed out and flew straight up in the air.
I used tcl to get close to it to kill it with console commands but it always flew away from me instead of attack me.
And it bugged into a tree at one point.

Yes. I was wondering if I was the only one. It was on a miscellaneous quest "Kill the dragon at Bonestrewn Crest".

It's a bug introduced by the 1.2 patch. A very rare one. But a bug all the same.

There's supposed to be a patch out next week which solves this.

What type of dragon? Perhaps its only certain kinds of dragons. I encountered one dragon in my new game and it was flying normally. It pwned me totally because I have no resistances which is cool. Dragons should be tough!

I saw one yesterday! It was the first I'd seen and it was hilarious, though it was too hard to bring down with my current puny bow, so I ended up just leaving.

I used to be a backward flying dragon you could see on rare occasions..

But then I took an 180° FUS RO DAH to the knee. :cheat:

I've seen one yes. It spazzed itself into a tree and got stuck, but it seemed to have infite health.

I've had 2 backward flying Dragons, they must have just flown in from the Soviet Union.

No backwards flying dragons here. But the last three random dragons I had didn't attack me or any creatures around and just flew into the sunset after some circling.

I've had 2 backward flying Dragons, they must have just flown in from Soviet Russia.

You have to corner it in a way that it can't recognize you're there or it will glitch away from you really fast. I killed mine with a bow and arrow outside of the range for bows and arrows somehow, and it didn't die. It was out of HP though. Just flew in the same spot with muscular dystrophy and I couldn't do anything about it. Oh well for that quest for a week.

I would hardly call it an issue though. It doesn't happen often at all.

Yes i have seen it too. First it was attacking but then it was like stucked, hovering and then flying backwards, against a mountain then it was suddenly behind me and flipping around in the air. I though it was just a bug in MY game. But seem to be something from the Patch 1.2 I have seen two of them yet.

Yeah the one I saw would have been perfect to help take down a fort.

Shame really, it was a beautiful set up, but the dragon wasn't interested... :tongue:

I had my first one today, also floated in the air and insta-dodged a shout aimed at it.. twice... After about 10 minutes trying to do something about it, I left it be trying to mate with a cliff and wandered off. Hopefully sort itself out for a proper fight when it respawns or it gets patched.

As long as its occasional its not a problem, I'd feel for those where every other dragon is like this thou.

I don't know if this is relevant... but I did note on mine, it seemed normal but surprised me and flew into a cliff and got stuck, it was only then it decided to go into reverse to fix itself... it just didn't even refix itself forward, like it couldn't stop itself from flipping into reverse.
