Is it bad to use a script heavy mod again in the same game?

Hi! I was using Frostfall when the game started crashing. The game still crashed after removing it, it turns out that it was Autosave Manager ( that was crashing for me, I'm not saying it's a bad mod ). I've read that information from installed mods persist in my savegame. So, if I were to reinstall Frostfall then will it use that same information. Or will it generate new information and inflate my savegame? Frostfall is a script-heavy mod.

I noticed that Autosave manager made my game crash more frequently if I used too many save variables. Now I'm only using incremental saves (not autosave, never as far as I'm concerned) for two variables: timed saves and manual saves. If I happen to crash, I rarely lose something important and it's definitely not because of Autosave manager.

As far as your question goes, I can't really answer, but I believe that removing script heavy mods is be a bad idea.

You basically can not remove a mod from the game. Things get baked into the save from the mods. Are there mods out there that can be removed, probably. Something like an Autosaving mod might be OK to add and remove. Adding a mod back is not a good idea most of the time. What you can do is add the mod back, then load a save from before you removed the mod in question.

In other words, you should always create a forked save before you make any mod changes to the game.

any and all armor, weapon, model and texture mods are perfectly fine to uninstall midgame. anything else requires you to either start a new game, go to a save prior to installing a mod, OR you can also use the script remover.

You did uninstall Frostfall using the MCM, right?
