I'm done with the main question in DG and on to some radiant ones as a non vamp. At one point, I got a quest to rescue a 'friend of mine' who'd been captured by some major vamps. Earlier I'd finished Companions and am Harbringer. I'm playing a female 'toon.

So I fight my way through a castle knocking off baddies left and right finally getting to where the captive is and it turns out to be Aela! She's the archer chick from Companions - the one with the painted face who figures prominently in the main Companions' quest.

When I knock off the baddies guarding her and go to rescue her, she says, "I knew you'd come for my, my love". My love? How did romance and not only that, but female on female love work its way into DG or Companions? Then she took off and said she'd meet me at Jorasker or whatever that place in Whiterun is.

I have no been able to find her afterwards. She's not at the club house - I checked a few times. Anybody else have similar?

Sounds like you're married to Aela. She'll be at your home.

There's a small bug where potential marriage candidates will speak as though they're married to you when rescued; nothing to worry about.

Ah, so females marry each other? I never tried the marry quest or whatever it is.

that's the thing with Skyrim. same six relationships and marriage are openly accepted.

And I guess Aela just told you her true feelings
