balancing alchemy skill gain?

enchanting always rewards linear skill gain, smithing always reward linear skill gain unless you have massive skill and improve an expensive item (crafting steel armor and iron daggers is always same tho, for instance).

however, alchemy is totaly messed up. some potions are worth as little as 10 gold when created, others are worth as much as 5,000, and experience gained is directly linear with gold value of created potion.

is there any way to adjust this so that all potions are worth the same, but somewhat average amount?

say if every potion created was worth exactly 200 gold, regardless of quality / effect.

now each ingredient picked up would be valuable, and the skill gain would coincide with smithing and enchanting gains without abusing merchant restock mechanics and buying everything, instead of having the enjoyment of finding it yourself.
