I'm working on a mod at the moment, and I've decided to include Fallout 3's Chinese Assault Rifle in it, since all the models and textures are in New Vegas' files, but are unused. The thing is, Fallout 3 and New Vegas have completely different standards when it comes to things like weapon damage, and I'm at a complete loss about how to balance the rifle's stats with the rest of them.
I've seen a few Chinese Assault Rifle mods on the Nexus, but from what I can tell, they all seem to just port the gun straight over, either using a different gun's stats, or just using the stats straight from Fallout 3, which isn't something I intend to do.
So, does anybody have any ideas about how I could go about balancing the Chinese Assault Rifle in New Vegas?
