So I was riding on my horse and noticed a dead Nord on the side of the road. I see dead NPC's on the side of the road or out in the wilderness pretty often. But this one had a name, Balbus. I searched his body and found something even more interesting. Balbus's fork!? "What the ..." I said to myself.

Anyone have any idea what it's for? Did I some how break a quest by finding him dead early?
