Hello, I started Balmora Undercity with the hope of building nothing more than a nice under city for balmora with a few factions. Well pc troubles kinda took over. I am now in the position to reopen the project. I need only a one at the moment to help me start:

I need a copy of the .esp
The current file link is broken and i have lost the original copy that i was working with.

Right now the to do list is:
1. Get the original .esp
2. Finish cell design
3. Finish NPCs
4. Dialouge
5. Factions
6. Quest
7. Fill lots


IF
I can not receive a cope of the original esp I will just start from scratch.

If anyone out there can get me the esp i can begin my work again.
I am turely sorry for the long wait. PC troubles are like a plague.

Ok I am going to begin redoing the mod. I will post all my progress here for everyone to see. If you want to help send me a message and i will get you involved somehow and somewhere.

To claim a lot simply Send me an email to gamerteen4@yahoo.com.

A lot may contain anything!
It must be made into an interior cell!
You can't steal other people's work so please be original!
One Lot per person!

When I see the title "balmora undercity" it makes me think of undercity in world of warcraft... is this just an underground extension of balmora or will it include an undead faction?

Balmora undercity is just an undercity for balmora, It has two factions: The Guard and The Hobos, Both are joinable and have their own quests that tie into each other, the player can choose either path to take.

The process for claiming lots shall be as follows

1.Email me asking for a lot claim ( please have a lot number in mind that you want)
2. I will then tell you if it is open or closed
3. You can then build your lot.
3a. IT MUST BE AN INTERIOR CELL
3b. It can contain anything that you want
3c. Please keep the interior size of your cell to a reasonable limit,
3d. Each lot may contain a basemant, of any size, (you could add a 20 hour long quest driven dungeon if you wanted to, as long as it is beneath the house)
4. You will then email me the esp file containing your lot
5. I will then add your lot into the main file.

I will be wrapping up the two faction head quaters and working on the clutter for the plaza. Then I will begin working on the dialogue and the quest.

Lots are still open to be claimed, There are 30 lots left at the moment.

New Update:

Ok Phase one of the plaza is finished, phase 2 will consist of me adding the appropriate clutter outside the lots, such as the taverns will have beer and food outside, armor stores might have an anvil for repairs and etc.

Now I am working on the Guard Squad HQ as we speak, it should be finished sometime this weekend with screen shots posted afterwards.

I know this project is taking longer than I thought, but this is due to me working 12 hour days 5 days a week and only having sat and sun off. I am making the time for the mood this week end and plan to get a good amount of work finished. So be on the look out for a new post, it will be either late Sat or late Sun.

Now the screen shots do NOT show all NPC's. However they are there. So as it stands the next update will be when i finish the HOBO headquaters. Then I will begin on the Dialogue and the quest. If anyone would like with either of these, it would be much welcomed. Just post a message here, I check over it almost daily.

Just to let everyone know the project is still going, I have had little time to myself lately, With court/school/work I have one day out of the week to myself.

Currently I am working on the hobo's headquaters which is, HUGE. It is a lot bigger than I thought it was. So I am working to Fill it up so it has the over crowded feel of the lower class citizens of Balmora that I am looking to create.

Attention! I am getting ready to release the Alpha phase testing of the Balmora Undercity.
What UndercityVa1 will have:
1. The entire undercity's interior
2. Twos lots filled as a teaser.
3. A sneak peak of the npcs that will be involved in the was between the hobo's and the Guard Squad.

Now I am releasing an Alpha because I want to show people the city so they will begin to claim lots.I should have the alpha ready before December 1st. I will also begin a new thread to help with bugs and for requests and lot claiming.

EDIT...

This makes me start to think...It would be cool to have under villages everywhere...just make them relative to the size of the actual above ground villages. The more, the merrier!

I have released the Alpha in it's current state to Get more people involved in claiming lots. A lot may include anything as long as it fits in an interior cell and is realistic in size.

This mod isn't dead, it just suffered from computer problems, but i have my pc back up and running, i will begin work promptly. I hope to post some progress within the next few days.

Current Update

The mod is one step closer to being released. I have finished all nonquest related static construction. The entire area is built and ready for Npcs, whom will need Dialogue and then quests. So I am down to the last three items before Beta release. NPCs, Dialouge, Quest. I will begin working on them and I plan to have Beta released before or on February first. So be on the look out for that.

Hello once again all, it would seem that this old mod just won't die. I honest can;t imagine letting it go without a fight. But I've great news! As it stands the only thing needed to be done on it is to add the Quest related NPCs, the Dialogue, and of course the two Faction Quest. Now, as I am a High School Senior whom is working long hours and nights to get my credits to graduate on time in May, and due to the fact that Windows 7 killed my computer, work on this mod isn't at the top of the list :confused: However I will continue to work on this mod, I already have the entire quest written out on paper, I just need to type them and create their dialogue. If anyone would like to sign on to help create random NPC's or if anyone would like to claim a lot and add their own content Simply drop a comment on here or email message me and I'll get you the information.
