Ban Bows and Gauss Rifles from CvR.

Like the title says. Bows and Gauss Rifles only disrupt Cell vs Rebel gameplay and ruins it for everyone. While the rest of us who use normal weapons have to aim for the head to OHK, they can graze your shoulder with a gauss or bow and you die. As everyone knows, Bows and Gauss Rifles are only countered by armor, which in Cell vs Rebel, there is no armor. This problem needs to end because with bows and gauss enabled in Cell vs Rebel, you spend a large amount of time dead due to being one shot then rez and instantly die again by another bow or gauss user.

By removing them from CvR, you will make CvR a game mode where you don't have to jump between servers to see which one has the least bow and gauss users. Some of my favorite FPS multiplayer experiences have been in Crysis 3 Cell vs Rebel and all those favorite experiences were when no one was using a bow or Gauss Rifle. Eventually, some scrub gets tired of losing so he pulls out a bow. That lone bow user isn't a problem but when he starts killing people, then the people he kill grabs a bow or gauss to counter him and then so on and so forth until it's just one giant instant deathfest. There is nothing fun about sitting and waiting to rez, only to die instantly and have to watch another killcam.

What really blows my mind is the sheer number of people playing CvR, I usually always see at least 4-5 CvR servers completely full.

What blows my mind even more is why all those players aren't complaining about Bow/Gauss like you are. Either most of the servers have banned Bow/Gauss (have they? I don't know) or people are genuinely enjoying getting OHK'd from the other end of the map and OHK'ing others back, just one happy OHK-fest where everyone moves like turtles.

So I can't really speak on the behalf of CvR players since I'm not going to touch that mode with a 10 foot pole as long as OHK weapons exist, but I agree with you to an extent. However completely removing them is a bit extreme, they only need their OHK capability taken away (reduced shot damage in CvR only) for the sake of balance.

Your point is true, but on the other hand, it shouldn't be banned from it. Just balance it in CvR and make them a 2 shot kill at least. And make proper area of damage multiplier, like if you shoot someone with the bow in the foot, he shouldn't insta die, just take away like 3-5 units of his HP.
A little buff to the speed would appreciated aswell I think. There are these huge and open maps in C3 with almost no cover at all. Sometimes you cannot cover ground, b/c a camper will sit and wait with an OHK weapon and wait for someone to pass in a given area of the map. Maps in this game are made for normal mode, not CvR, that's for sure.

The other thing I don't like in this game, that when you don't have a nanosuit, your HP won't regenerate. I know this is realistic and stuff, but I had bad times in Assault as a defender. I can easily kill the attackers, but they take away some of my HP and when it comes to a like 3vs1 situation, I have no other option than die. I cannot run away, since I lack speed with a normal soldier and I cannot even survive properly, b/c let's say, I deal 2 of the 3 guys, but the third guy just punches or lay one bullet on me and I'm dead, since my HP is not regenerating, while nanosuit guys can regenerate both of their HP and Armor. Same goes for Hunter.
These makes these modes totally unbalanced.

Crysis 2's Classic mode was great, I really enjoyed playing it. If it will be something like that, I might try it out aswell in Crysis 3.

I'd be willing to accept balanced Bows and Gauss Rifles in CvR but in truth, the chances of them being balanced around just Cell vs Rebel is slim. So the only recourse at the moment is to ban them until balanced.

Also, many people complain about Bows and Gauss rifles in CvR. You can find it on these forums where people say they don't play CvR because of Bows and Gauss Rifles. Of course, there will be a decent number of players that say they are fine with Bows and Gauss Rifles but those people most certainly are the ones that use Bows and Gauss Rifles.

Usually, the people that try to defend Bows and Gauss by claiming that they like to snipe. If they want to snipe in CvR, then use this thing called a "Sniper Rifle". It allows them to snipe without OHK someone they clip.
