Banana split's better cities mod

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 8:44 pm

I was unsure whether to get this or not because I am relatively new to Modding and i didn't have OBMM. Well i got OBMM and found out how easy OMOD's were so i got this and i must say i am astounded. Being a previous console user only i am astounded by the level detail this has added. I have run into some FPS issues as i'm running Qarl's III texture pack. You know what i don't care i think this is porbably tied with the unique landscape mods for best Mod on my oblivion.

Just thought i would share :D

If you have a decent pc and you like Oblivion prettier than it already is, you should definitely get Better Cities and Unique landscapes. Btw, there are also reduced versions of Qarl's texture packs for graphics cards that have less than 1 Gb RAM. :)

Yes they are both great mods, however i do encounter some PC overload when running both of them with a full FCOM install. If you plan to add any other large mods i would strongly advise using specific modules of each mod, seeing as they are very easy to customize. Currently Im playing with only UL and the game is running great, on my current playthrough I'm exploring a lot and going to decide which areas from UL i want to keep and which i will get rid of just so i can use both mods.

As you are new here, have a fishy stick! :)

Also, friendly advice: best post your thoughts about a certain mod in that mod's dedicated official thread. Thoughts, comments, praise, criticism, all feedback should all go in there. Cheers!
