[Relz] Bananasplit's Better Cities - Thread 44

Err...maybe this is just an issue with a level 1 character with an appallingly bad acrobatics skill, but I pretty much stumbled into the Chorrol Women's Bath (and conveniently found it the very day http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=42038 is released...) and...uhh...once in the water, I can't get out.

I had to TCL to get out.

This seems unintended.

I wouldn't say that it is easy to get out but it is perfectly doable without any need of acrobatic skills. Now the technique is not really easy to write down but we never had complaints so I guess the others figured it out.

I can add a sloping collision box if that would help.

You know, I think it might. The Men's baths can be a bit tricks as well. Alternately, you could put four of those podiums instead of one, arranged to make a continuous floor. That would solve the issue.

I just tried in-game, and it is exceedingly easy to get out of the water, so there is no need for any changes here.

Mind enlightening me?

Same way you get out of any water in Oblivion where you cannot just walk up a gradually sloping beach, you jump forward.

In the land of vanishingly unlikely bugs to ever observe without browsing in TES4Edit, it looks as if the path for the female biped model of the "dark blue pants", (record 179faa) is missing a prefix. To confirm, I hunted and killed Eredell and then stole his pants. Indeed, they made my lower half disappear.

Anyhow, thanks for the fantastic mod!

So I've assembled a body replacer conversion of BC to TGND2 and I'd like to make sure that I give the right folk credit for the originals. I'm having a bit of difficulty figuring that out from the readmes, forum post, and file listing since I don't know what clothing was introduced by which merged mod. The only one I'm confident about is russader's pregnant woman dress, and that only because it's on the previous page of this thread. Should I just dump every name in the readme, or is there something more specific out there?

Thanks,
M

A lot of the outfits are retextured vanilla stuff, and much seems to be by "MTC".

Yes it was Nernie who introduced most (I think all) of the news clothes and armors you an see in BC

Great, thanks. I narrowed it down to Nernie and "MauTheCrusher" and was going to just go with the one who is actually in the credits, but it is nice to get some official confirmation.

MauTheCrusher? Doesn't sound at all familiar. MTC is Nernie, did she also go by the name of MauTheCrusher?

MTC are the real name initials of Nernie. Nothing to do at all with MauTheCrusher.

Hah, yeah, figured that out after her Nexus page listed her first name. She and MauTheCrusher both prefixed their releases with "MTC", although, really, he was a pretty unlikely option.

Huh...

The "Glass Shoes", are they supposed to actually be transparent? Because the texture allows for that (though for some reason won't show up in NIFSkope at all), but the mesh itself lacks the alpha property.

Its a fairly simple fix, but I was wondering if having them be non-transparent was intentional.

We have Glass Shoes? That must be from Nernie, presumably. No idea, I'd have to glare at them and make them tell me why they exist, then I'll know if they're meant to be transparent.
