Our installation instructions are feeling neglected :sad:

I read em. I was just thrown off by of the two resource packages listed one is listed as final and the other as a release number other then the main file number. Unless Im missing something else entirely. On a different note I did actually download the extra resource one I just never installed/activated it.

Installed great, kinda. In the IC Market the is an issue with the original ground showing through. All over the place. Did I do something wrong, because those instructions were pretty easy, especially since I didn't need any of the patches for other mods or the FPS patches either. Any help would be great.

Got it running after installing the extra resources. I just have to say oh my lord it's gorgeous and all kinds of awesome. Thank you for the amazing work.

Check your load order, you've put BC IC in the wrong place, most likely.

Not most likely, but definitely. Any mod which touches the IC Market District, if loaded after BC IC is guaranteed to reset the land height. Even if all that other mod does is place a rock in the District, or changes the water height in one cell, or changes the default music type being played when in that District. Simply correcting your load order will resolve this.

Ok probably not the noobest question you have gotten, but definitely dumb. Is the "last" in the load order in the mod manager the top or bottom. I have BBC at the bottome of the load list and I thought that was last. I'll try it the other way. Also I love that the Apachii Goddess store totally works with this. Maybe it was a no brainer, but I wasn't sure. My wife loves oblivion and has only played it on the PS3. She is deployed right now and I can't wait till she gets back and see what you all have done to it. Thanks for this. All of you.

I guess nothing. I thought the Oblivion Mod Manager allowed me to change the mod order. I've got BC at the bottom of the load order in Oblivion Mod Manager, at the bottom of everything, There is a chest in the district that is changed. If not I'll look around for a load order changer.

Maybe my stupid chest just isn't compatible then, because there aren't any stray ESP files. I have all six ESPs at the bottom and the chest at the top. I don't need the chest and would never sacrifice this mod for it. If I have to I'll just remove it.

After ensuring that OBMM is definitely listing the ESPs in Load Order instead of any other order, please use OBMM to export your load order as a text list and paste it here. Also, are you using Wrye Bash at all?

There is a conflict between TR_Stirk (Ship to Stirk) and Blood & Mud (Ansol's ship) as both add ships that are in the same location in the Anvil Bay. Now I know that none of these mods is in Better Cities, but knowing that you added some compatibility tweaks between B&M (Ansol's ship) and Better Cities to fix ship clashes in IC waterfront, could you take a look at fixing this as well? A request, nothing more. :)

I already fixed that. You should find that Stirk offers a universal compatibility patch for most mods which conflict in Anvil - and I created that patch, a year or two ago.

can someone plz help me? everytime i run this mod my oblivion hangs on load screen. not even a CTD or anything but it just stops at loading screen before main menu and doesnt move on. and i find out that the problem is isolated to the IC esps only, meaning if i run all the esp's besides the IC ones i can run it fine but evertime i activate the IC esp's i get this problem. here is my modlist and load order:

o and im using the "open better cities" version of the esp's, but the stock esp's with this mod itself also works fine

So why are you even using 4.8.4 then? I thought the whole idea of the latest string of updates was to provide OBC options from within?

Get rid of all of the Open Better Cities plugins, they are redundant, outdated, and likely the cause of your problem.

Don't use Old Open Better Cities, it is old and outdated as Thomas Kaira said. I ceased support for OOBC over a year ago, and the last several BC releases have included OBC anyway. Also you're using every single OOBC ESP so you should have installed the single merged ESP rather than each one separately. You're not using every single BC IC ESP however so you did right to use the separate ones there.

I'm guessing that the problem is you are using the OOBC ESM instead of the BC ESM. BC requires the BC ESM, OOBC should work with the BC ESM too, so if you're going to stick with the obsolete OOBC then you must overwrite the OOBC ESM with the BC ESM.
Or better still, scrap OOBC entirely and install BC, then toggle on the Open version of each city. But I suggest you wait a bit if you read this soon after I type it, BC is going to be v4.9.0 later today unless we hit a problem.
