Hello,

i was wandering around and i came across an imperial patrol which asked me for 100gold. they were 6, 4imperials, 1orc and 1dunmer.

Before they asked me for 100gold they was arguing about skooma and when i refuse to give them 100gold they attacked me and started fighting each other aswell.

Anyone know/seen these guys? are they part of some kind of quest? any ideas?

Orc was totally odd (who asked for 100gold). His emotes;

You there! Ah citizen... This area is offlimits.
You are interfering imperial buisness. Yeah, so you will have to pay us a fine.. of say 100gold. Pay up citizen.
Emperor thanks you, now show off!
Rathen than, have a nice day citizen. etc.

It's one of the random events or opponents you can encounter while traveling.

I've had them a few times. Look around a bit and you'll find some corpses of naked and real Imperial soldiers.

Those guys aren't Imperial soldiers, they're thugs who killed some real soldiers for their uniforms, obviously.

I've came across wierder random encounters.

I've seen them. I think they were bandits who were dressed as imperial soldiers. If I remember right, there were naked bodies next to them.

I had something very similar happen IN RIften I believe
I just assumed the guards there were corrupt or something
I just told them off and they left me alone though

thanks for all replies. i was wondering why it counts as murder when i kill them, just noticed "imperial soldiers" among them. killed some of good guys accidently
