One simple question : is Pole auto-bannable on some servers or what the hell is going on because i got banned on three different servers in one day just by running around and killing everyone with a pole :D (and yes its very easy to kill)
There was no warning from anyone .. just BOOM your banned from this server :D x3

Server mods don't seem to like the pole.

The pole was not meant to be a weapon for mass farming. It was more of a gimmick, but people running around with Heavy Weapon Pro and Maneuverability all the time, when they have full ammo in their gun is just a warrant for a ban.

they're just butthurt for getting killed too often. aka the server admins aren't older than 10 years old and they tend to ragequit or rageban when things don't go their way.

Yeah server admins are butthurtin it sounds like. The pole is NOT that OP, people just need to learn to have vision and, for the love of God, actually play with mics on so they can get info from teammates on where to expect people coming from. If they want to stop these people, people need to know where they are coming from otherwise a pole guy will come in and swing away and kill everyone.

If that much preparation is required, then it does seem OP. In many games, the pole user is like dominating the scoreboard. 15-0 or something like that after 2-3 minutes. And I mute all the mics for a reason - other players shouting around like lunatics.

People were complaining about a 2HK melee in the beta. Well, this is a 1HK melee. He just has to cloak behind some wall or bush and then WHAAAM....right in your face as you pass by.

It's not preparation whatsoever. It's what I WOULD have thought should be standard among anyone with a computer that can run this game or ANY higher end game today. If you can run the game but refuse to communicate because you don't want to or don't want to spend 5-10 bucks when your computer is worth over 500 that quite frankly deal with it, or buy a mic and contribute. Communication can bust any punk who thinks they can have free reign over a server doing the same thing over and over again. Also, when you do have a mic, make AS MANY FRIENDS AS POSSIBLE with mics and squad with them as often as possible. Other than that, cloak is not infallible. Shadows, outlines, rustling of leaves from people trying to hide in bushes. They are not that hard to find to be honest if you don't only focus your vision on readily visible objects.

If they added a movement speed debuff when you have the pole, it would keep people from getting some many kills with it. With Heavy weapons pro + Max maneuv, you move way to fast for an auto OHK weapon. I play CvR explicitly so I no longer have to deal with it.

I don't know why people are complaining about poles/perks. I get nailed all the time and my fellow mate uses that constantly. I think it's funny as hell. There are always options to counter other peoples loadouts ... try some.
