Hey guys :D

I've had some time today for modding. I have finished a wooden style bridge model which will be used on some of the Islands which I will add later on, when I get the time and finish the other islands and quests.

But the most important progress I've done today is on the Frigate model, its really taking shape! I think I will upload some pictures soon so you can see its might :D

Untill then, as always I will happily answer questions and receive critic and/or credit

HI everyone

I have a request to the mighty people of these forums, it is described here:
http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1091807-can-someone-help-me-make-lod-textures/

Now for some news

I am almost done with the settings to the region and will post some screenshots as soon as its done generation :D And if I(and you) are lucky there will also be some good LOD Textures (the request)

I have also done a huge work on the Frigate and will post some screenies soon :)

I think that this looks very good and the volcano island is very interesting. I'm interested to see that ship with textures too.

Hey guys check out this new model I've just made
http://sites.google.com/site/awiaoblivion/pictures/barbada-island/models
Its not the completed version on the pictures but it is done, I'm trying to make some fishing models to the game since fishing would be a pretty major part of the resource gathering on islands ;)

Awia,

Looks good. I've been bookmarking your mod on Nexus for quite some time. I go through content very slowly, so my normal mode is to keep an eye on certain mods, install on release, and let myself "find" them as my character travels Oblivion looking for adventure and loot. I can guarantee you that this mod is one that I'm anxiously awaiting. For whatever reason, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of pirates and/or dingy/dirty/dangerous ports done for Oblivion (even though it's got ports). So, really looking forward to this.

Please keep up the great work. Don't worry about speed. Take your time and don't get burnt out. I'll (along with pretty much everyone else on this forum : ) will be playing Oblivion for quite some time (since TESV still seems to be a work in progress : )

Thanks,

Tarl

(edited for grammer/spelling and probably missed something still : )

Hey guys! :)

Thank you so much for the comments! it really means a lot to me that people care about the mod, even though the progress doesn't seem so fast.
Especially your TarlofGor comment, it was really great and i got very happy when i read it.

As for the progress:

I've been working a lot on the story creation for chapter two, and started to write a whole bunch on characters background and characterization :) it will give the story more depth and right now, I look really forward to start to work on my second chapter, because I think the story is going to be really great!
I've also worked a lot on the content on Volcano Island :) the regions is completely done, and I've started the "near" creation of the island, including cities, areas and so on.

I've done a whole lot of work yesterday and I hope to do a lot again today! :)
I've made 3 villages and a fort to Volcano Island ( also done various other stuff )

To help the creation of the Fort, I downloaded some modders resources including some of Mr Siikas (Better Ports, Miscellaneous) and some of Cow1787 (Nordic Palisade Wall) . Those resources are really great, so if you mod yourself, check them out

As soon as I pull myself together to take screens I will do :)

Looks very nice. Especially the last pic.
When I lived in Africa we were at a resort for vacation and that was an old volcano lake. Some nice hot streams, lots of elephants and monkeys :D

So, got any floating rock aka Pumice stone

QQuix got a modders resource - Conceptual - Rock, rock, rock your boat that adds a rocking motion to the rowboat. It has to be a single-mesh object.

Cheers!

Wow. I really like the volcanic crater. In Cyrodiil a lot of these sharp distinctive geographic features are missing in favor of rolling hills. Its great to see this.

Hot Steams!!! you are brilliant!, I have completely forgot that, it will be a nice feature to the island. And the same about the Pumice stone, I think I will make a mesh for it

Unfortunatly, All my ships and so on are mostly not one mesh so I can't use that resource.

Thanks! I also think that is what makes the Island more realistic :D I'm glad you like it

At least that can easily be solved with a single ctrl + j in Blender. :)
