I seriously want to change my characters hairstyle, but the showracemenu command resets all my skills.

You can use the console command without reseting your stats. Just open the race menu and make your changes, then save before you press done (while the menu is still open). If you load that savegame the menu will be closed, your changes will be applied and your stats won't be reset. I've never done it myself, but I've read about it multiple times now so I'm pretty sure it works.

Actually, though, a mod adding a shop where you could change your appearance (a la the barbershop in WoW) would be way awesome! Even if it just brought up the regular charactercreation menu upon talking with an NPC or selecting some piece of furniture, I would definitely make that a must have on my list Is there a command that lets you open up something like the race menu without the problems such as resetting skills associated with it? If so, I would consider trying to make this
