Barbus, the Hound of Clavicus Vile

Post » Sat Oct 09, 2010 1:26 am

I was playeing through the Umbra quest in Oblivion today when the hound of Clavicus Vile, Barbus, told me that he wasn't always a dog, and his name wasn't always Barbus. He said that he was once a Redguard, and once was a scamp doing deals with Orcs. maybe this is painfully obvious and everyone knows about it, but could he be referring to Creeper in Morrowind?

It's likely, according to what I've read on the internet. Kind of an Easter egg.

I'd rather like to know who the Redguard is he's talking about?

So would I but unfortunately, he didn't give any specifics. He just said Redguard. Maybe in a future TES game (if it's set before OB and MW), we might find out

In the game Redguard he makes his head look like the head of Cyrus, and other animals.

the redguard that he says he once was was most definitly in the image of cyrus because one clavicus vile says barbus takes a likeing to cyrus and takes the form of his head in the game redguard.
