[WIP/BETA] A Bard's life

Post » Fri Sep 03, 2010 11:41 am

This is really making me want to play a Bard now, but I'm going to wait for this mod to be done (i'll probably check out the Beta though)
Looks great so far!

Where is the Inn going to be located? (sorry if I missed that info in thread) Looks like it's somewhere in the Ascadian region.

The inn is by Lake Amaya, but I basically stretched a bit of land into the lake to avoid conflicts.
Thanks for the encouragements Pluto!

Wow, I just saw this and I am really amazed. I can't believe I never saw this before, It's so much better than I ever dreamed of.... It looks a lot like that Bards of Vvardenfell http://www.freewebs.com/mode_locrian/bardsofvvardenfell.htm that I drooled over until I made mine..... I am sorry if I offered competition  , I just had no idea that this even existed..... If there's any way I can help you on this, I would love to join efforts. Does this use the same music that my Better Lutes, and Illtempered's Complete lutes use?

I just realized something, the Definitive Birthsigns Pack already has a sign called The Wanderer. (Fortify Endurance +5)
Not a big deal, and it wouldn't bother me having two in my game, but just a suggestion if you want to change it. I don't think I've seen a birthsign just named The Bard.

It looks a lot like that Bards of Vvardenfell http://www.freewebs.com/mode_locrian/bardsofvvardenfell.htm

Thanks for pointing that one out, I didn't know of it. Looks fun.

Thanks Pluto, I wasn't aware of that. I think I'll keep the wanderer because the bonus my sign gives are not really bardic in nature and I like the birthsign illustration I made for the Wanderer more than the one I made for the bard ;)

The Bards of Vvardenfell mod indeed looks like great fun but it was never released, not even a little alpha, to my great dispair, hence my attempt at making a bardic mod.

Finally, Xargoth and I are took it to PM to see how we could combine our work and make the bestest bardic mod ever!

Looks great.
Maybe you should break up those repeating ivy patterns, though. Shrink some, turn some sideways, etc.

Hi all, it's been a while, I'm still on my break away from MW but I will eventally come back, past experience has proven I cannot not mod for more than a year. ;)

A Bard's life and Pegasus Estate are still very much my priority and neither project has been abandoned.

In the meanwhile, feel free to leave any feedback on the current beta, it has everything but the inn.

At any rate, I'm glad to see there is some interest in a Bard's life :foodndrink:

Sad to see you have gone.... Will you be back on this soon? I have some ideas you might be interested in. Concepts for better lutes 4 might come in handy with this mod.

Sorry I tried to test Bard's Life but it's a little too much for my current pc to handle :[ I still think it's a wonderful concept though and look forward to playing it once I can get a better computer :)
