If your sneak skill is below Journeyman (50), then the weight of your boots/shoes affects your sneaking. The heavier the footwear, the more effect. Above 50, it no longer has any effect.

Going barefoot will be better than wearing even lightweight boots like fur or leather.

EDIT: I cant say how much better, though.

The heavier the shoes, the bigger the penalty, as glargg said. No shoes are best of all if your skill is below 50.

I also don't see how pregnancy fits into this thread.

It doesn't seem to fit into Cyrodiil at all, but that's a mystery of a different sort... ;)

I guess that might explain how my character did so well sneaking around. She disliked wearing shoes or boots.

There seem to be cows though in that state somewhere as bandits apparently know how they move

Although - (needless to say) - for pregnancy there are mods for that...!

Indeed.
Although I would never utilise the "Barefoot and Pregnant" mod because it sounds rather daft.
I prefer the Companion Vilja mod, which is lovely, surprising, unexpected and Deep.

I would love to use the Vilja mod but as a Swede myself I can′t help hearing way too clearly that it′s another Swede who voice acts, and it doesn′t sound good.

Emma has said that many of her harshest critics are fellow Swedes criticising her poor English, which as a native English speaker I find rather puzzling.
Yes, she gets it very wrong sometimes, but in all the right places to my ears.
I find it "cute" and natural, and I wouldn't have Vilja, or indeed Emma, any different.

This is from someone who hates American "English" and what has been done to a once noble and precise language!

You say garbage? What a load of rubbish!

I don′t mean to critique her because I probably sound the same or even worse. But as I can hear the difference so clearly I can′t say I like it. Awesome mod in any case and I′m glad it′s so successful :)

And yes, loads of rubbish it is!

I don't think I would have used Vilja if she was voiced by an American. I completely understand where you are coming from.

I would probably agree with you if I were from any country outside of the Nordic ones. The Vilja mod is very well made and she looks quite nice too, so in any case it′s a job well done there, Emma :foodndrink:
