Ive spent a lot of time in the base building part of the game. Now i have a bug that has runied that for me i can only build a max number of 'thing's' in my base.... the size bar is not full! But it gets worse this spans over all of my settlements?! Eg. I can't buld anymore at one base... again not max size, no pop ups to say full i just cant build no frame on the object or wall etc or anything... almost like when you dont have the resource for the item... yet i do. Any way this is shared with other settle ments so if i can't build anymore at one then i can't build anything anywhere else... but if i delete say one thing in my base then i can build one more thing at that base or anyother... but just that one thing?
Am i missing something here?
Has anyone else over came this bug?

On ps4 also.

Try creating a new save for a test.

Then go in and dismantle everything by saving it to your work station. See if that fixes the problem. You can just do little by little and keep testing to see if it works.

I've got the same issue. I posted a thread too and I'll update you if I hear anything.

Found a temp solution that worked for me: went and did quests for an hour, was able to come back and build things.

I have the same problem happening here.
And indeed After playing a While I could build again.
After building a dozen of things I noticed that it starts removing dog tags when I build something.
Now they took all my dog tags and again I cant build anything anymore.

Is this a bug?

Something similar happened to me. The size bar at Sanctuary was completely filled and at some point rather suddenly it dropped back down to maybe 3/4th filled. I don't understand if there is some reason for this that I made happen or if it's a glitch or what. This game will make you think you're going crazy I swear.

Is it something to do with new areas opening up that somehow increases the object file list? Ie if you have only opened up sanctuary the size limit is set to 10% which allows you to build when you open new areas rather than opening a new area only to find you can't do anything with it?

That's how I would of developed the game to operate.
