Hey everyone, Bashur here.

Instead of making crap ton of threads clogging up the MOD section, pushing great mods off the page, I'm going to create this thread as a central location for my questions, and if anyone else has the same questions, I will post the answers on this first post.

FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager), FOSE (Fallout Script Extender), FO3Edit, and GaryBash are the only ones that I can think of off the top of my head.

Isn't the Mod Detectives thread kinda like this?

For me, running 117 active plug ins so far I'm doing fine with just FOMM and FOSE. I haven't had a need for FO3edit yet, though I don't have tons of all the major mods, just FWE and MMM.

I wish that I could run FWE, but I would rather use FOOK 2 instead.

Hmm... I keep forgetting which mods you use... But I've found that DC Interiors is a mod that I doubt would ever leave my load order, especially with http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12056.

Edit: Oh wait, you're looking more for tools. I don't know of any that haven't already been mentioned, sadly.

I mostly use mods that involve enhancing immersion. I'm starting from scratch, and re-starting my longplay. That's the reason for the creation of this thread. =)

EDIT: Nono, MOD's I'm looking for as well. Texture replacers ARE essential in my opinion, as well as DC Interiors. MOD's you just can't go without when going for an Enhanced Fallout 3 experience.

Oh! in that case, both the mods I mentioned fit that! Yay.

Anyhow, I've been using some new companion mods lately. I grabbed llamaRCA's http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12221, and shortly thereafter, grabbed http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9320. They play well together.

What mods (if any) have you already decided on?

I don't recall, do you have http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=101? Great mod for adding immersion, I guess. If more/better blood means more immersion :)

Also, http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5277, so after you've plugged that bullet sponge with 100's of rounds, the shells will be on the ground to prove it.

With even just these two mods, it still looks like a small battle happened after it's over. That's immersive IMO.

Hey Bashur, are you planning on using FWE? If not, I'd recommend http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7565. It's actually more of an overhaul, but it changes a lot of things in the game to make it more RPG oriented, as well as more immersive (let's just say that having a crippled head is... actually crippling now). I've used it for quite some time, and it's not leaving my load order.

Didn't even think we had to suggest that, it's a given! I didn't even know it was possible to even play Fallout 3 without it :P (DarN had better have his UI ready for when New Vegas comes out :))

Yes, Mez's Merged Patch, should be right on the FWE download page, under options if I remember correctly :)
WeaponModKits - Broken steel
EVE Operation Anchorage.esp (you need this along with the EVE Anchorage - FWE DLC Anchorage.esp that you already have)

A mod to add to the immersion, http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8918 if you are going to do any sleeping outside.

Exactly what Miss Sparkle says.
Your game is crashing because you are missing a master, which in this case is EVE Operation Anchorage.esp
Remember when you get such a crash at start up you can always load your loadorder up in FO3Edit and you will see exactly which file is missing a master.

You are also missing Project Beauty HD version.esm
