I always download 1k retextures cuz i like high fps and i was wondering are 1k actually even better than vanilla textures or am i really wasting my time,,,,,,,

1k textures are the same as vanilla textures.

2k textures are the same as the HD DLC textures.

well whats the difference when modders offer 1k textures....some of them look really better than vanilla.......Gamwich's work comes to mind?

Just the quality that goes into them.
