So I've been wondering, say I have a bow. Is it better to just spam my basic attack or hold it to charge the attack?

How are weapon enchants effected?

Any chances of increased crit and/or stun in a powered attack?

Which one will produce more dps?

any thoughts?

Depends i think I was lvl 6 and my spam attack with the bow hit 18 dmg consistently spamming it. A partial charge heavy attack would deal between 20ish to 48ish and full charged would be between 40-55 ish.

So depends on the situation, does it call for a big burst or damage or trying to just put dmg on target to finish it off.

Good guestion, lots of the powers are CC, area and other effects, add ranged if you are melee.

More about the normal versus heavy atack, my quess is that heavy atack does more dps but can be interupted and is easier to block.

Yes situation does play a big roll. And I agree a power attack is easier to interrupt.

But as a ranged a power attack is kind of hard to interrupt in the heat of battle.

The other thing I thought about is to try and do a power attack, it might do more DPS than a burst, and gives you some time to recover magika and stamina.
